I just finished my last class that is needed to receive my Information Technology Technician Certificate. Ten classes, six hundred course hours, and all A’s; a 4.0 GPA. Happy am I!

Student of the Month: March 2015
March was an AMAZING month where we had over 30 students with 100% progress or better, and five students with over 200% progress! This was a very pleasant surprise to us this month, and it is becoming harder and harder to select the student of the month because so many of you are doing such an outstanding job. It was tough, but we feel the individual we have selected is deserving of the award.
The winner of March’s Student of the Month award and $25 bookstore gift card is John Smith! During his time in the program, John has maintained a progress level over 150%. Throughout the month of March, John achieved a progress level greatly exceeding 200% in some of our more difficult courses and has been an excellent student in the IT Program. John always jumps at the chance to help out around the class and has shown excellent leadership skills with other students. It has been a pleasure to have John in our IT program, and he is a deserving candidate of the March Student of the Month award!

Put down another check mark… No, make that another “A”!
I just finished Software Development Fundamentals not only with a 99.6 grade but I also finished 300% ahead of scheduled!
This class gave me the most enjoyment yet. learning the basics of JavaScript, Java, C++, C#, and Visual Basic was just what I needed. I wont even come close to saying I am an expert, but I did have and extreme thrill scripting and producing the programs that I did create. I cant wait to dive further into my programming future!
Another “A”
I just finished another class, Network Fundamentals, way ahead of schedule (over 220%) with another wonderful sold “A”. This course made me memorize way too many acronyms and definitions, however the Lord blessed my brain to absorb and retain them like a sponge. I enjoyed the challenge and now I’m preparing for Software Development Fundamentals. Bring it on!
